<p style="text-align: justify;">Despite being a popular research subject internationally, self-regulated learning is relatively under-investigated in the Indonesian context. This article examined student motivation and its use as an indicator to predict strategies school applied quantitative design, with Motivated Strategies for Learning Questionnaire (MSLQ) used collect data. questionnaire was completed by 408 public high secondary students randomly selected from population Lampung Province schools, multiple regression analyze obtained Results show that were positively significantly correlated; three predictor variables of could strategies; value components best predicted strategies. In conclusion, these findings indicate that, when teachers apply strategies, such including value, expectancy, affective should be strongly considered place. It hoped finally will learners their success.</p>
